Graham Pack is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He spent 8 years as an Associate Director of a public property company, becoming actively involved in the buying and selling of £1.6 Billion of properties.
He is an expert in transactional due diligence and has negotiated complex contracts for the purchase and sale of large office buildings and shopping centres. He has established multiple service charge processes for the properties with which he has dealt.
In 1999 he was brought in by Mapeley Ltd as part of the property advisory team in the 20 year outsourcing contract of 15 million square feet of properties from HM Customs & Revenue. This contract has a Net Present Value of over £2 Billion. During the acquisition process and following the award of the contract, he dealt with the analysis of the service charges of over 250 properties with a service charge liability totalling £16 Million and recovered over £2 Million.
Graham has also been asked by Mapeley Ltd to deal with the service charges for offices that are occupied by Abbey National, as well as providing advice on service charges when Mapeley acquire other multi-let property investments.
In addition to Mapeley, other clients include Cattles plc, Nationwide Building Society, Norwich Union, Barclays Bank, Eversheds, Alliance & Leicester, Dun & Bradstreet and Cardinal Health in the reduction, administration and recovery of service charges. He is also often instructed by other firms of surveyors which include DTZ and CBRE.
Graham has been appointed to the RICS Presidents’ Panel of Independent Service Charge Experts and accepts appointments as an Independent Expert either through the RICS or directly by agreement with the landlord and tenant.
