The company is an award winning “people activation” agency that helps organisations inspire positive change in their people through internal communications strategies, social media and live events.

First move in 2015

Recruitment agency First Commercial Recruitment Limited, began 2015 with a move into new offices on Manchester’s Deansgate.

Acquired by Tenant Advisory Group in late December 2014, the space on the third floor of Lancaster Buildings provides the growing recruitment business with its first conventionally leased office space.

The business had outgrown its suite of offices in the Regus business centre at 82 King Street towards the end of 2014 and was in a rush to find a solution before its agreement with Regus came to an end.

The founder of the First Commercial Sharon Seville was referred to Martyn Markland at Tenant Advisory Group by a business contact.

As Tenant Advisory Group’s principal consultant, Martyn Markland explains, Lancaster Buildings scored highly on several counts. “The space had a high quality fit-out which required very little adaptation and there was also a communal kitchen directly opposite. The low fit-out costs combined with the low annual overheads gave the building a distinct advantage.”

“Crucially, we were also able to negotiate a right of first refusal over adjoining space allowing First Commercial to grow without the need to relocate to another building in the immediate future. The pre-emption rights were critical as they will help the business minimise its overheads in its next growth phase.”

The landlord of Lancaster Buildings was represented by Obi.

Acquired by Tenant Advisory Group in summer 2014, the space in City Tower provides Godel’s management team and its clients with an inspiring workspace which benefits from spectacular views over the city.

Tenant Advisory Group’s principal consultant, Martyn Markland, has been impressed with Egan Reid’s solution, “Egan Reid has managed to create a vibrant work environment which is in tune with Godel’s philosophy of delivering outstanding value and innovation through collaboration between its clients and its software developers. The results speak for themselves.”
